This is not the first time i heard about runner dies after running a half marathon. If you still remember, similar case also happened in KL.
Runners should learn listen to body, stop running when you are feeling something weird on muscles, breath, chest and etc etc...
Runners also should learn about their body whether do their fitness / conditions allow them to start running. Some who have asthma are advised to seek doctor advice before start running, even in running, much pre-caution need to take note.
RIP to the runner.

Polar RCX5
Since Oct 2011, Im been using it for my training. Be it running or cycling or some heart-rate workout.
I'm love my Polar RCX5.
I used my Polar RCX5 in TMBT, and the GPS lasted me for 14 hours plus before battery die off. (ops.. my TMBT race report, it's still in progress, sorry about that)
Without fail, perhaps it's my training intensive schedule, my Polar RCX5 on board memory always hitting to full memory alert in end of the month! Weee...

The Most Beautiful Thing TMBT - 1 day to go
Tomorrow most of us are flying to Kota Kinabalu for The Most Beautiful Thing ( TMBT ) 100KM, single stage, Sabah Adventure Challenge Trail Ultra Marathon.
As i wrote just now, it's "Single Stage" where we did not get luxury treatment like Sundown Ultra Marathon where we have transition point at 50KM, we need to carry our nutrition from the beginning to sustain until the end of the race 100KM.
Nutella - The favourite food of Killian Jornet, the champion of recently Mount KK Climbathon...
Honey - I read somewhere it's help... i kiasu, so i brought... No harm for bringing extra nutrition...
I was brought from US in bulk and half of the above i was testing it during my usual training.
Now it's all i have left. All are to sustain maximum of 36 hours, try to target 30 hours if possible.
While the power bar gels at the back were brought last weekend! 24 packs to standby.
Last weekend, I have chance to meet up with TriStupe.com where he show me demo on Map Reading 101 . I was abit blur at the initial stage and subsequently managed to learn the logic behind.
Thank you TriStupe.
As i mentioned in previous post, i will updates my FB status via twitter along the whole race wherever i can get Celcom signal.
Lastly, All the best to all TMBT participants which include me and GOOD LUCK!
99% of hard work, 1% of luck.
