Emotion-less face by the worker... im so scared he will chop me! haha... lucky im still can blogging here.

Drink the coconut water straight from the coconut! Im loving it... 

This is how im eating the coconut meat using the coconut itself... Anyways, some of you might thinks its not hygienic, after i ate all the coconut meat, i have no stomach problem... hehe...  

Plenty of fresh coconut... which selling at RM2.50 each! Im definitely going back to drink again!

Penang Bridge International Marathon 2010 (PBIM) Pacer

Not long ago, i blogged about Penang Bridge International Marathon 2010 (PBIM) Pacers aka Cari Runners. 

Today, im going to intro another special pacer for PBIM who going to run 6 hours pace. 

He is my shoe supplier. 

He is my running gadget supplier. 

He is one of my best running advisor. 

He is Choi... 

Choi will be 6 hours pacer for PBIM... Hope i can stick with him for the whole journey...

Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2010 Route Revised

My previous post on Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2010 Route can not view the youtube any more. Sob Sob. 

Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore have removed the original video clips and replace with a new video clips.

42km route 

For the first time at the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore this year, the Full Marathon (42KM) will kick off at 5am at the heart of Orchard Road. Runners will run pass landmarks such as Clarke Quay, Chinatown, the Esplanade, Singapore Flyer and the Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resort.
Ekiden points are also indicated on the map.

21km route 

Participants of the Half Marathon on the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2010 can look forward to a colourful and spectacular run with runners set to be flagged off at the Sentosa Bridge.

It will see participants completing 1km out of the 21km route through Universal Studios Singapore. This will be the first time the theme park -- which will be open before its normal operating hours to accommodate the SCMS 2010 -- will host an event of this nature. This is also the first race in Asia which will have runners running through a theme park as part of a half marathon route. The park's guides and up to 21 well-known characters and mascots such as 'Shrek', 'Marilyn Monroe' and the animals from the animated movie 'Madagascar' will be out in full force to add to the festive mood, cheering the runners.

P/S : Im still hate the half marathon! why no gives us 42km runners to run through Universal Studios Singapore! Why? Why? Sob Sob... 


10km route 





The 10km run on the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore 2010 will start at the Esplanade Bridge. Runners will then head towards the Central Business District before turning back towards the Fullerton Hotel, and then on to the Esplanade Bridge.

From there on they will continue their way past key landmarks on the Marina Bay before stopping the clock at the Padang.

Interval training with Dutamas Runners

Event: Interval training with Dutamas Runners
Venue: Dutamas Raya
Date: 09 November 2010
Time: 7.00pm
Distance: 50 minutes of warming up and Interval of 3 x 1km 
Shoe: Saucony Triumph 7


Today run with Dutamas Runners gang... 
As usual, we start with warming up by running about 8km for about 50 mins with my slow turtle speed. 


Learn from Khoo some tips on how to tackle my calf muscle pain when im 1st started to run.. the pain will gone once i have enough warm up... 


I was asked what's your best timing for the 10km? my reply: its 1 hour 1 mins my best time for 10km... it turn out become 5 minutes pace for the 1km interval training. 


1st 1km - 4.53 s 
2nd 1km - 6.07s 
3rd 1km - 6.27s 


Something is wrong with my running timing... People are running faster and faster yet im the opposite way... 


Then were told that i had run too fast in the 1st 1km... and you should use your recent 10km timing and not your best timing. My best timing was achieved 1 year ago. The only 1. 


Now im learnt. Next time i shall perform much better...

Eneloop Stick Booster by Sanyo

When i was 1st come to know this Eneloop Stick Booster by Sanyo was when someone shown me the link of engadget. Immediately im falls in love with the stick.

I checked up and down in the low yat forum and all the Sanyo resellers did not selling the stick as reason the Sanyo Malaysia not yet bring in the Stick into Malaysia. 

Besides that, i google-ed online and found some sellers are selling the stick in Ebay and some other Singapore sellers. At last i decided to get from Ebay, as the seller do ship to Malaysia. 

The stick was flying from Japan all the way to Malaysia... 

Its tax free item... Thanks to recent Tax budget announced by Prime Minister Najib Razak

I believed this stick is now only "Made in Japan" and its not widely available worldwide...

Below are the print screen i captured when im charge my iPhone 4... 

60 minutes have past and its now charged till 50%. 

As you can see, the charging was stopped at 58% from 18%. Two AA size batteries gave 40% of juices to my iPhone4. I was left my iPhone in idle situation. 

Charging: 18% to 58% 

Duration: 1 hours 22 minutes. 

Condition: Left my iPhone idle. 

For your information, im already an existing user of 4 Eneloop rechargeable batteries with a charger. So i can continue to charge my iPhone 4 with second set of AA batteries. 

Result: 

Charging: 58% to 81% 

Duration: 39 minutes. 

Condition: Been using the phone heavily and unplug the charging as im reached home.

Conclusion: 

1. The pack did not come with any cable. You just need to use your own USB cable. 

2. The stick only can output and you have to invest your own extra Sanyo Eneloop charger to charge your eneloop rechargeable batteries. 

3. The stick did not able to satisfy you if you look for 1 which can fully charge your phone in 1 cycle. 

4. The stick give you a temporary juices to your phone when you are out of reach of plug or PC or laptop.
5. I love the stick size as its small and tiny. Its occupied a friction of space in my bag! Woo Hoo.. 

6. The stick is proven working on the iPhone 4. Not sure about other phone. Good luck trying.

Finally, Im proudly to self declare: Im the FIRST Malaysian Eneloop Stick Booster owner and reviewer too. 


haha... If im not the FIRST to own in Malaysia, do let me know... 

In futures: 
1. I will try to use other band of rechargeable batteries with higher mAh capacity if im able to borrow from anyone to test the performance although its not recommended.  
2. I will try to use normal non-rechargeable batteries for testing. ( This will be useful if your rechargeable batteries are out of juices and you can buy the normal batteries from 7-11 shop if its really urgent.)
