Raya Outing 911

Its was Raya Outing on 11 September 2010 which im been delaying to post... now here some summary of the outing for the day.

We started our day with Bak Kut Teh! 

After that, we went to take speed boat ! yeah... can guess where we heading to? 

 We spend our afternoon on the island. 

 Beside walking around the island we had seafoods as lunch! 

 The famous fried chicken as our final meal of our trip. 

We went off separately after the meal! 

Its linking finger good the fried chicken! 

New Car Park Rates @ Midvalley

New Car Park Rates effective 1 November 2010 @ Midvalley.

Can you spot the different or rather any change in rates?? seems no change in rate right? Yes you right no change in rates just a removal of "maximum charge for parking whole day" or "No maximum charge" applied.

Previously the old rates there's a maximum charge for RM7.00 on weekday and RM9.00 for weekend if im not wrong.

Royal Selangor Visitor Centre

Recently im always been to Royal Selangor Pewter visitor centre just to buy postcards for my postcrossing.
I wanted to visit the making of pewter process and finally i found my day to visit it on 25 September 2010.

To be frank, im been staying at Setapak for the past 5 years since my day in college, and im only visited once to Royal Selangor Pewter and yet Royal Selangor receiving thousand of visitors everyday!

Let's the tour begin!

The founder of Royal Selangor.. were introduced the history of Royal Selangor Pewter.

 You mind not know What is Pewter. 

 

At one of the showcase counter... knocking! Its really test your precision and force to knock on the cup. 

 Everyone was given chance to try the knocking to see whether you have potential be the Royal Selangor staff. haha... 

Cheese! 

"You're fired! Go back home and practice 1 more year and come back try again! " Im failed miserable!

The statue of Royal Selangor founder signifies safe guard, protect and oversee the workers in the factory.

Penang Bridge International Marathon 2010 (PBIM)

Im just committed to Penang Bridge International Marathon 2010 on 21st Nov 2010. This is very last minutes additional to my Singapore Marathon which scheduled 2 weeks later on 5th December 2010.

Im going to run 42km marathon on 21st Nov 2010 and another 42km on 5th December 2010!

PBIM going to be my 1st full marathon in Penang and 7th marathon to-date! 

My target timing : 6 hours! 

I can not run faster or set faster timing as i have to take consideration of my Singapore marathon 2 weeks later. This is the PLAN to tackle 2 marathons in 2 weeks time! 

hehe!
